How much does the SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass cost?

The cost for a SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass is the face value of the gift amount plus a service fee that is quoted depending on annual purchase volumes and additional business solutions needed. For annual volumes below $10,000, our standard products can be purchased by creating an account. Service fees for standard corporate purchases:

    • Physical SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass               $3.95
    • Digital SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass                 $3.45
    • Greeting Card SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass    $3.95

What is included in service fees for retail gift cards?

The service fee for retail gift cards includes shipping and handling fees which includes packaging, standard shipping and customer service.

How can I search for a specific merchant brand?

Go to the Search field at the top of your screen to search for a retail gift card by name. You can also view an A-Z merchant list or view merchants by category by clicking on Shop by Category and choosing the View All Merchants option.

Do retail gift cards expire?

Retail gift cards are subject to terms and conditions established by the issuing merchant.

Where can I redeem a retail gift card?

It depends on the merchant. Some retail gift cards can either be redeemed in store or online only and some offer both. You can find details by contacting each individual merchant.

Why do I need to sign up for an account?

There are no fees to register a business account with GiftCertificates.com. You will need to create an account to place a business order. When you create a business account you will enjoy a number of benefits including: Quick order forms, bulk ordering, order history, reporting and assistance from our corporate support team.

How do I sign up for an account?

Creating an account is simple. Go to My Account, select Create an Account and enter the requested information. You can update your account information at any time by signing in to your account with your username and password and going to My Profile under My Account Settings.

How do I establish a line of credit?

To establish a business line of credit, contact Corporate Support at 1-877-568-8401.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

If you have forgotten the password you can have a new one emailed to you. Simply go to My Account, click on the Forgot Your Password? link, and submit your username. You will receive an email from us with your new password. Please note that passwords are case-sensitive and should be entered exactly as provided. Once you are signed in you can go to My Account and then to My Profile under My Account Settings, where you will be able to change your password to something you can remember.

What forms of payment do you accept?

GiftCertificates.com accepts the following methods of payment for business purchases: Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, and Discover®. You may also establish a line of credit, ACH, wire transfer or invoice.

What is included in service fees when purchasing a GC GiftPasses?

The SuperCertificate and GC GiftPass service fee includes shipping and handling, packaging, standard shipping and customer service.

What is a credit card Security Code and why is it required?

In order to protect you from unauthorized transactions, GiftCertificates.com requires your credit card’s Security Code. Visa, MasterCard® and Discover: The Security Code is the 3-digit number printed on the signature panel on the back of your card. It immediately follows the account number. American Express: The Security Code is the 4-digit number printed on the front of your card.

Can I store my payment information on your site?

Yes. To store your credit card information, Sign-in and click on Payment Information. For your security and privacy, GiftCertificates.com does not store your credit card’s security code. You will need the security code every time you place an order. Note: SuperCertificate/GiftPass serial numbers are not stored on accounts for security reasons.

Can I access my order history?

To view your Order History and find the details for all of your previous orders as well as view the status of current orders, Sign-in and click on Order History. You can also view an individual order by going to Order Status.

Can I check the status of my order?

To check the Status of your Order and find the details of an individual order, Sign-in, click on Order Status and enter the Order Number.

How do I make changes to my Address Book?

Sign in to your account and click on Address Book. You may edit or delete existing, or add new entries.

Where is my order?

When you place an order you should receive a confirmation email containing details of the order and a shipping confirmation email updating you on the time of arrival for your retail gift cards.  Feel free to Contact Us at 1-877-737-0200, or email us at corporatesupport@giftcertificates.com if it does not arrive.  We are happy to resend it!

How can I track my order?

You can track your order online by logging into My Account and clicking on Order Status. Enter your Order Confirmation Number and click Submit. Once your order is verified you will see the details of your order and if your order has shipped. If your order is being shipped by FedEx® you will be provided with a tracking number and a TRACK link to FedEx’s tracking website so that you can use its online tracking system to locate your package.

  • Physical orders (i) with a ship-to address outside the United States or Puerto Rico; (ii) which is valued over $400.00; or (iii) which is requested by the customer to be expedited, may be subject to additional shipping and handling fees at time of order. Express deliveries cannot be sent to a P.O. Box. A.P.O. or F.P.O. Physical deliveries cannot be shipped to Quebec.
  • com agrees to bear the risk of loss of the shipment of gift certificates from GiftCertificates.com to the Customer until the Customer or recipient takes possession of such gift certificates, after which the Customer or recipient shall bear all risk of loss of the gift certificates. GiftCertificates.com is not responsible for replacement of gift certificates that are not received due to Customer’s failure to provide accurate delivery information, including physical and email addresses. If Customer desires to have GiftCertificates.com re-send shipments returned to GiftCertificates.com as undeliverable, re-send charges may apply.
  • If physical certificates are shipped directly to Customer, Customer must promptly notify GiftCertificates.com of (a) any discrepancy in the order; or (b) Customer’s non-receipt of shipment. Upon receipt of such notification, GiftCertificates.com will investigate, and may, if appropriate (i) correct such discrepancies; or (ii) cancel and replace any non-received shipment in which a full balance remains on the gift certificates, provided that the intended recipient submits to GiftCertificates.com a properly completed Affidavit of Claimant/Lost Shipment within 60 days of the shipment date for business customers, and 14 days of the shipment date for individual customers. If GiftCertificates.com does not hear from Customer or recipient within the aforementioned time frames, the shipment will be deemed to be satisfactory and accepted by Customer.
  • com is not responsible if a Recipient or Customer defaces, damages or otherwise renders unsuitable for redemption a merchant gift certificate that is either sold to the Customer or received by the Recipient in exchange for a SuperCertificate®.

Can I return a SuperCertificate® or GC GiftPass®?

We are sorry, once a SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass order is fulfilled it cannot be returned or exchanged.

Can I return a retail gift card?

Unfortunately, once a digital gift card order is fulfilled it cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged for a different retail gift card. Please ensure that your order is correct and the recipient email address is accurate before placing your order. A physical retail gift card may be returned for a refund or exchange if the gift card is:

  • Unused with the full original balance;
  • Returned within 30 days of purchase;
  • Returned via a trackable shipping method;
  • Returned in perfect condition without folds, marks, or any physical damage; and
  • The gift card merchant is still a partner in good standing with GiftCertificates.com and offered on our website.
When returning or exchanging a gift card, please include a note with your return that contains your full name, contact information, explanation for the return or which gift cards you are hoping to make an exchange for. How do I redeem a SuperCertificate and GC GiftPass?

It's easy! Just follow the steps below:

  1. Go to GiftCertificates.com/redeem
  2. Enter your SuperCertificate or GC Gift Pass number
  3. Browse and choose the gift card you want!
  4. Send it to your email or have it delivered by mail.

Why do I need an additional method of payment when redeeming?

When redeeming a SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass and your purchase is greater than the value of the SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass, or you want to select a faster shipping method, you will be asked to provide credit card information as payment for the balance.

How do I redeem more than one SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass?

You can enter up to 10 SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass numbers, with matching Program ID’s. Submit one at a time in the field provided on the SuperCertificate Shopping Page. Navigate to SuperCertificate Shopping Page by clicking on the top navigation that says "Redeem with a SuperCertificate". Enter the SuperCertificate numbers in the form field provided. The system will tell you if you have submitted SuperCertificates from incompatible program ID’s. The system will only allow you to shop and complete a transaction with one Program ID at a time.

What is my SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass balance?

You may enter your SuperCertificate number on giftcertificates.com/redeem to find out what the unredeemed balance is. If you don't want to checkout now, just close your browser when you're done. Please note gcredeem.com does not retain SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass serial numbers for security reasons.

What if I can’t find a denomination that matches my SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass balance?

Denominations vary from merchant to merchant, so you may be able to redeem for more than one retail gift card with your balance. Remember you can redeem your SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass in part or in full. You can also pay the difference with a credit card if your purchase is more than the balance of your SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass.

Do I have to pay for shipping when I redeem a SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass?

There is no shipping charge when redeeming a SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass. If you are redeeming a SuperCertificate or GC GiftPass for more than $400 in gift certificates you will receive free USPS Priority shipping. You always have the option to upgrade to various FedEx® shipping methods for a charge.

Does my SuperCertificate® or GC GiftPass® expire?

No, SuperCertificate and GC GiftPass balances never expire! The balance will remain until it is redeemed for a retail gift card. Please note, SuperCertificates and GC GiftPasses issued on or after July 1, 2004 do not expire. SuperCertificates issued before July 1, 2004 generally have an expiration of 13 months from the date of issuance, except where prohibited by law. If you have an expired SuperCertificate and reside in a state that prohibits expiration dates, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-PRESENT or customerservice@giftcertificates.com.

Can I redeem for cash?

No. You can choose one of our many retail gift card options.

What happens if I have a problem with a retail gift card after I receive it?

Once you receive a retail gift card, the merchant provides customer support directly to you, just like any gift card. You can find contact information in the email containing your gift card or on the physical card itself.  We will work to assist as much as we can. However, once you have received the retail gift card, it is best to start with the merchant's customer support team.

What happens if my retail gift card is lost or stolen?

If your physical gift card is lost or stolen after having received it from GiftCertificates.com, you must report it to the merchant or retailer immediately. Replacement of your gift card will be determined by issuing merchant’s policy. Some merchants do not replace lost or stolen gift cards, others do, and some may charge a fee for replacement. If a merchant does offer to replace the lost or stolen gift card, you will likely be required to show proof of purchase and/or provide the ID number on the card. Most merchants provide toll-free numbers to report lost or stolen cards. GiftCertificates.com is happy to help you by providing ID numbers and proof of purchase, if we have it on record. Please note that Gift Cards are just like cash.  If lost, their value can be used by someone else.

Please note that Gift Cards are just like cash.  If lost, their value can be used by someone else.
